Hi Friends! I don’t know about you but around here, we enjoy our Mexican food! Every week we either have tacos or fajitas and sometimes both. We love it! We had a fiesta last week and wanted to share a new recipe I tried. We almost always use a traditional beef taco recipe but I decided to switch it up and add in a fish taco.
You could really use any kind of fish but I decided to use salmon for this recipe. I bought salmon at Publix that was already seasoned in a chub blend and decided to make it on the stove top. Once that was complete, I made a new avocado creme sauce to put on top of the tacos. Reed loved it! I am not a big avocado fan but tasted it and decided it was pretty good. This could also be for a regular taco or chips not just on a fish taco. It was so simple to make! I hope you enjoy it as well 🙂 thanks as always for reading! Have a great day xo Tesla
Here is the recipe for the avocado creme:
Ingredients:
–1 avocado
-1 or 2 teaspoons of lime juice
-1 cup of plain Greek yogurt
– 3-4 tablespoons of hot sauce (can add more if desired)
-2 tablespoons of olive or avocado oil
-2 tablespoons of water
-salt & pepper & garlic salt to taste
•For the salmon, I purchased a Cajun spiced salmon at Publix and didn’t need to add any seasoning to it for the tacos
